Other Details to Note

The freeway is generally just mild ambient noise while inside. It is absolutely noticeable and intrusive while outside but you quickly get used to it. If you are a light sleeper though, this may not be the place for you. Also, we are a log cabin home with lots of woods nearby. While we treat regularly for bugs, we still have some get inside due to the nature of log cabin homes, particularly in Fall, where Asian lady beetles (look like ladybugs) and stink bugs are looking for a warmer place to live!

The Martin Springs Cabin was sublime. It was easy to get to, easy to get in, and extremely cozy. You can hear the highway, but it does not drown out the birds, insects, conversation, or detract from the surroundings in general. Highly recommend.

David’s place was the perfect spot to stay for our trip to Adventure Offroad Park. He was very accommodating and the cabin was exactly as described in the listing. I would choose to stay here again on future trips.

The cabin was just perfect for our long weekend stay! The kitchen was well equipped and the beds were very comfortable. We loved the hot tub too! And yes, you can hear the highway, but the host has provided earplugs and white noise machines that make it almost unnoticeable, and the convenience makes it worthwhile! Thanks for a great stay!

This was my second time staying here, David was friendly and responsive. The place was everything i wqnted and more. The late night hot tub and cigar( I added an adult beverage) sitting out side with nature. Your problems melt away.

My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon and it was absolutely perfect. The location is great as it is close to hiking areas, restaurants, and Chattanooga without being too busy! The house itself was beautiful inside and out. It was clean and tidy, the beds were comfortable, and it was stocked with anything we could have needed. The hot tub was extremely nice and clean. It was very spacious. The sound of the interstate was not bad once you got inside and if you are a light sleeper, David provided ear plugs and white noise machines to cover the sound of the interstate. However, the interstate sounds should not deter you from this stay because the house, host, and location are all excellent and outweigh the noise. 100% recommend and will be staying here again.

The home is BEAUTIFUL. I would definitely come back. Just because of how peaceful it was! David was an awesome host. He responded to every question and concern that was had about the place! It was much appreciated and quite frankly the getaway that myself and my family needed! lots of stuff to do if your willing to travel a little bit! All in all it was worth every penny spent!

I took my son who is 12 for a little Spring Break getaway, we had fun on the trail, enjoyed the property, my sons favorite was the Hot Tub. The cabin was beautiful inside and out. Very clean and it had everything that you could possibly need or want. We will definitely be coming back again. The host was very communicative and friendly, I couldn't have asked for a better place or a better host.

The cabin was perfect, the description on the listing was extremely accurate! The place was extremely clean, had a very homey feel to it, had everything you could need in the kitchen for cooking and more! We have no complaints and will be coming back soon! The only thing I would mention is the driveway is a bit steep and if you are in a car it will scratch the underneath, that is the only problem we had. We will return but with the jeep!

We stayed during dangerous weather. David provided us helpful information of where to go if it got bad and even offered to come help if anything happened. The cabin was spotless, cozy, had a very nice hot tub, and I made a 4 course meal with a kitchen that wasn't missing one utensil that I needed for it! Will definitely be back❤️
